Angel Light
It is remarkable how AI can allow you to explore your creativity in such a way that was not possible before, despite being a digital artist and photographer I was always constrained in what I produced , not normally by my imagination but often by my ability or my chosen tools. This artwork is an exploration into the world of angels , a symbol to some people of something that is there to guide us through life, an invisible guardian perhaps, but often as a symbol of goodness and of light in what can sometimes be a very dark world. I have attempted to illustrate this through the atmosphere and location of the images , to show angels of beauty and light in a world of ruin , destruction and flood. A bleak backdrop maybe , but a symbol of hope nevertheless.
About the artist
I have been a keen photographer for many years and ever since taking art at school I have been exploring every aspect of art through my photography and through various art mediums , more recently acrylics and gel printing as well as digital art. I love abstract art in particular as well as art in architecture representing art nouveau and art deco styles. I often create artistic work from photography , representing the landscape as something other than realistic representation , formed more to present what I feel about a scene rather than just a record of the moment. This has various levels of success but I continue to try. I have very recently found expression in digital art through my ipad and even more recently through AI which has allowed me to explore ideas and style of abstract and organic work which I was never able to before and has revitalised my creative spirit.
