Poems
Since my early school days I have enjoyed reading the occasional poem. I studied a variety of works when in education and even have published one or two of my own. In this work I wanted to take a number of poems and produce a single image that conveys what to me was the essence of the first lines. This was done with various prompts in Midjourney and Krea with the images finished in Photoshop. The images are just my interpretation and AI has given me the ability to do this where my standard digital or wet art would not. There are 8 images for 8 poems that complete the work.

"Let us go then, you and I" ....... T.S.Eliot The Love Song of J Alfred Prufrock

"I wondered lonely as a cloud" .... William Wordsworth. I wondered lonely as a cloud

"He came home , said nothing" .... Wislawa Szymborska. Going Home

"Tyger Tyger burning bright". William Blake. The Tyger

"Stop all the clocks , cut off the telephone". W.H. Auden. Stop all the clocks

"I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by madness , starving hysterical naked "... Allen Ginsberg Howl

"I celebrate myself and sing myself". Walt Whitman. Song of myself

"If I should die think only this of me " .... Rupert Brooke. The Soldier

About the artist
I have been a keen photographer for many years and ever since taking art at school I have been exploring every aspect of art through my photography and through various art mediums , more recently acrylics and gel printing as well as digital art. I love abstract art in particular as well as art in architecture representing art nouveau and art deco styles. I often create artistic work from photography , representing the landscape as something other than realistic representation , formed more to present what I feel about a scene rather than just a record of the moment. This has various levels of success but I continue to try. I have very recently found expression in digital art through my ipad and even more recently through AI which has allowed me to explore ideas and style of abstract and organic work which I was never able to before and has revitalised my creative spirit.
