Yokai Adventures

<strong>I love the pictures I've seen of Japanese yokai, or spirit beings--sometimes demonic, sometimes just mischievous. Like many anime artists, I've created some yokai adventures of my own, using MidJourney and other AI tools. I especially like the traditional belief that if ordinary household objects survive long enough (100 years, they say), they take on a life of their own and become yokai of sorts. My leading picture below experiments with that idea, setting it in a classically boring 1950s living room. I also love the bake nekos, or cat yokai, since I'm a big cat fan.</strong>
